Privacy Policy
The short version. Nemesis collects nothing. Your games are stored on your device and nowhere else. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, and the app makes no network connections at all.
Who we are
Nemesis is made by Bit & Grain Technologies LLC. It is a scorekeeper for the physical card game Flip 7 — you play with real cards, and the app keeps score.
What the app stores
When you score a game, Nemesis saves what you enter — the player names you type, the cards kept each round, busts and the card that caused them, and the resulting scores — to a single file inside the app's own private storage on your device.
We cannot see that file. It is not uploaded, synchronised, or transmitted anywhere. It is included in your device backups if you back your device up, because that is how iOS treats app data; those backups are yours and are governed by Apple's terms, not ours.
What the app does not do
- No account, sign-in, or email address is ever requested.
- No analytics, crash reporting, or usage measurement of any kind.
- No advertising, and no advertising identifiers.
- No third-party SDKs. The app contains no networking code whatsoever.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
Children
Flip 7 is a family game and Nemesis is rated 4+. Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. Player names are typed by whoever is keeping score and never leave the device — first names or nicknames are entirely sufficient.
Sharing your own data
The About screen has an Export a backup button. That is the only way data leaves the app, it happens only when you tap it, and you choose where it goes through the standard iOS share sheet. We are not involved and receive nothing.
Deleting your data
Deleting the app removes everything it stored. There is nothing held anywhere else, so there is nothing for us to delete on your behalf and no request for you to make.
If this ever changes
A future version may add optional shared scoring sessions, where people at the same table each enter their own scores from their own phone. That would necessarily involve a server, and it would change this policy. If that ships, this page will be updated before that version is released, the change will be described plainly here, and the feature will be something you choose to turn on rather than something that happens to you.
